I first started writing when I was 7, and more than 20 years later I am still writing - but now I've got a rich tapestry of experiences, and influences to draw on.

I love telling stories in my songs, and often my songs are woven from literary inspirations, as literature is another big love of mine. My musical influences include Regina Spektor, Tom Waits, Billy Joel, Nick Cave, Tori Amos, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Tracy Chapman, Alanis Morissette, Janis Joplin, .... and so much more.
