Ashowka are a fusion rock band that emerged in Bristol in 2006, playing highly original and innovative music inspired by a wide range of jazz and heavy rock influences. The music is a fusion of the bitches brew era style jazz with early 70's Rock such as Jimi Hendrix and Mahavishnu as well as other modern Jazz and Rock influences such as Bad Plus and Hella. The band has quickly acquired a strong foothold in the Bristol music scene.
