EraSer (bio_engl)

After several musical experiences as guitarist and singer, three years ago EraSer luckily finds out the wonderful world of circuit bending through the web . This tempts him to modify toys, firstly the â??Grillo Parlanteâ??. After modifying the most famous toys and musical instruments, he is always on the lookout for the most characteristic object to circuit bend.

His music is made of contrasts and blendings: glitch and lo-fi electronic sounds created on intense toneful bases. In his music he tries to erase any standard sonority in order to recreate or search for new sounds.He plays only using â??circuit bentâ?? toys and musical instruments.

EraSer is one of the â??witnessâ?? of the Michelangelo Pistoletto artistic work â??Il terzo Paradisoâ?? in the parallel project â??Mama/free music styleâ?? (http://www.ecletticaweb.it/terzoparadiso-mama/). In 2009 he starts collaborating with Ape5, an Italian experimental Vj, creating an A/V project called â??Future sounds coming from toys of the pastâ??.
