Hey - I'm Kadesha Affrica Drija. I'm a 16 year old singer/songwriter living in the awesome valleys of Wales (Land of Music). I joined a singing youth group at the age of 10, which was cool and it quickly got me hooked onto singing :) My music, singing, and playing guitar are literally my world, and I'm lucky enough at the moment to be able to live my dream, juggling songwriting, singing and gigging . . . while I still keep my brain going studying A-levels in English, Art and Psychology at my school. I grew up listening to all types of music from Blues and Jazz through to Rock and all the great acoustic stuff. - A wise man once told me .. "Listen to ALL types of music - you will learn from it all" . . . I am doing that, so hopefully my music will improve year by year . I have recently hooked up with legendary Songwriter/Producer Len Arran, whose work includes 3 platinum albums with Skin and Skunk Anansie in the late 90's. We have formed a great working partnership together and have written and recorded some great songs, some of which are included here. - Len has taught me the ways of music... and I have taught him Welsh phrases such as 'Tidy' and 'Cwtchin' - Wales is cool :) I'm always looking for opportunities to play my music - I just want to get as much experience as possible and "learn from it all".
