Biography of The Suit

From 2005 to July 2008 the suit was a lone artist creating eclectic tunes to de-stress from the corporate world. Corporate Badass by Day, Creative Trickster at night, many years passed with underground acclaim and respect and he thought he was happy with this..

Until..

It..

All..

Changed..

In July 2008 The Suit got invited to enter a competition at alterhit.com, a competition with the prize a slot at the big chill festival.

So should he enter? How could he perform? Well one guy on a laptop isn�¢����t much fun to watch, is it now!

With 3 weeks to go before the big chill the suit started working the phones. Contacting musicians with skills who could come together at short notice and perform at a major UK festival.

Two weeks before the chill the line-up was set, now it probably would have been easy to put a small band together, got it tight and ready to go. But that would have been too easy. Lol. An 8 piece band was formed and with 10 days to go started practicing everyday. Not once was the full line-up in any one practice at any one time.

I didn�¢����t even know when the competition would close, but carried on practicing with the belief that we would win it.

The First time the Suit Band in its full line-up played together was on stage in the Dance Tent at the big chill festival, and yes I won the competition.

And it went off!!!!

So much so we got asked back a second time in 2009 and potentially again in 2010 as well as being asked to play many venues in the midlands and in the south east. Since Playing the Big Chill 09 The Suit has been working hard on finishing the recorded project, having a baby and creating the game plan for the next steps ahead

The Suit is confident that by working with a fluid set of muscians instead of a fixed entity/band he can create a live experience that can be bespoked to any event and stops stagnation of his musical work.

either way it will kick your head in, or make you cry.

Trust me the best stuff is yet to be unleashed


CURRENTLY THE SUIT IS RECORDING WITH

KANUTE, REZINATE,PHILTH,LIZARDMAN,MOORE, WILL TAGGART and the mighty TADS on drums.
But more artists will be featured and he's planning some very cheeky live sets in April 2010 with a couple of new faces in The Suit Camp.

The main thing is that The Suit is creating music for a global market and will not limit himself with localities.

Q is currently mastering two tunes that are also being remixed by gargalmal calculator and Moon base. These should be leaking to industry by March 2010
